George Michael Fell Out of His Car While Speeding on the M1 Motorway image

According to witnesses, George Michael fell from his speeding vehicle on the M1 motorway carriageway.

The accident took place last Thursday, May 16th, and the singer suffered a head injury and was airlifted to the hospital, although journalists said last week that the injuries were “superficial cuts and bruises”. A driver behind the singer’s vehicle said he saw George Michael lying on the side of the road smeared with blood. Katherine Fox said she stopped her Mini next to him to prevent other vehicles from hitting him. She added that George Michael fell out of his car while he was trying to adjust his door as it was not properly closed.

“There was a nasty cut on his forehead and the back of his head. There was blood all down his face and on his teeth. He was breathing and conscious but in shock,” said Fox.

In September 2010 the star got a prison sentence of eights weeks after the July incident when he crashed his Ranger Rover into a London shop. He pleaded guilty for driving under the influence of drugs and received a 5-year driving ban. In 2006 he got a driving ban for two years and 100 hours of community service after he was found collapsed in his Mercedes and under the drugs influence.
