BMW has recently introduced the online configurators for the brand new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe.
Just a few months after being officially unveiled, the new generation of the BMW M3 Sedan, along with its two-door brother, the M4 Coupe, has received an online configurator. The configurator can be accessed here for the M3 Sedan and here for the M4 Coupe but, sadly, it’s only available for the two models on their local auto market, Germany, so if you would like to configure your very own M3 and/or M4, all you have to do is click on the links posted above.
The BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe are both taking their power from the same engine. We’re talking about a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo unit, with six cylinders inline, which is producing a total output of 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which is sending power to the rear wheels. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is made in just 4.1 seconds. Top Speed has been electronically limtied to 250 km/h (155 mph) but it can go up to 280 km/h (174 mph) with the optional M Driver’s package.
