The homeland of the Volkswagen Polo has recently seen the addition of a new member, the Polo Lounge, which is basically a special edition of the model.
The Volkswagen Polo lineup has increased in Germany recently with the new Polo Lounge Limited Edition. Just like its name is saying, this is basically a special edition of the small model which has added some interesting tweaks for the model as these should make it more appealing into the eyes of its future customers.
Volkswagen says that the new Polo Lounge is adding the tinted rear windows, the smoked taillights, the gloss black radiator grille, the 15-inch alloy wheels and the Lounged badges all over. The cabin of the B-segment hatchback has received features such as the infotainment system with six speakers, the auto dimming rearview mirror, the rain sensing wipers, automatic climate control, cruise control and the coming home function for the headlights.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the Volkswagen Polo Lounge Special Edition is being offered with a choice of four petrol and three diesel units. The cheapest version of the model is getting the 1.0 liter unit under its hood, connected to a 5-speed transmission. This costs 15,200 euros. For the most expensive variant, you will have to pay 20,375 euros, as this is getting the 90 HP TDI unit under its hood, connected to a DSG transmission. The model in question is currently available for order as the company is saying.
