Audi has introduced the new TT Clubsport Turbo Concept which will be officially presented to the public later on this month, at the 2015 Worthersee.
The 2015th edition of the famous tuning event Worthersee is promising to be more entertaining than ever and after Volkswagen has announced its plans to introduce the Golf GTI Clubsport at the event, time has come for Audi to do the same thing, with the TT Clubsport Turbo. The model in question has been unveiled, over the web for the moment, and it is a one-off vehicle track-tuned which is looking very similar to the TT Cup Racer.
This has received the direct fuel injection, a larger turbocharger an several other tweaks to the 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine which is now capable of producing a whopping 600 HP (441 kW) and 649 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, worthy of a supercar. Audi says that the new TT Clubsport Turbo Concept can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 309 km/h (192 mph). The one-off car can cover 50 feet within the first 2.5 seconds of acceleration. In order to cope with all this power, the carmaker has fitted it with the Quattro all-wheel drive system and with a multi-plate clutch mounted on the rear axle for better weight distribution. The vehicle also has the conventional 6-speed manual transmission and a series of weight saving mods. It will be shown at Worthersee on the 13th of May.
