A gold finished example of the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder has been involved in a crash recently, in the United Kingdom.
Life must be pretty dull for a supercar owner to have his ride finished in a chrome golden shade, in order to make it stand out even more, and when standing out is all you are interested in, you will sometimes end up in the news. According to the guys from Wrecked Exotics, this particular Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder has been involved in a crash recently, in Essex, the United Kingdom, shortly after a Bentley Continent has been crashed in the same area. Our source isn’t saying exactly how the incident occurred but we do know that the two crashes are not related.
If you happen to know more about this incident, please feel free to share. Meanwhile, we will remind you that the Lamborghini Gallardo has been in production between 2003 and 2013. This is still the most popular supercar ever to be produced in Sant’Agata Bolognese, with more than 14,022 units put together. Its looks have been signed by Italdesign Giugiaro and the model was offered in a two-door coupe or a two-door roadster, getting the mid-engine and all-wheel / rear-wheel drive. The Gallardo has received a lot of special editions and its drop-top version was shown back in 2006, during the Los Angeles Auto Show. This was considered to be an entirely new model, getting 513 HP (382 kW) and a 6-speed manual transmission.
