Although Dubai has seen many jaw-dropping vehicles, this Lamborghini still has what it takes to turn heads.
The new record breaking Lamborghini has been carved out a block of solid gold which weighs 500 kilograms. The vehicle contains 25 kilograms of gold and its starting price is somewhere around $7.5 million, from which $650,000 will be offered for charity.
The gemstones and precious metals on the vehicle have been valued at $2.64 million. This is the first time when the custom model of the Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4, which has been crafted at a scale of 1:8 by the well-known RGE Robert Gulpen Engineering in Germany, goes out of the European borders. The Lamborghini has been labeled as the most expensive model car in the entire world, but unfortunately is does not have the entire motoring specifications expected by car enthusiasts.
The full-sized Lambo is fitted with a V12 engine able of producing 700 bhp, reaching 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Even if the golden Lamborghini has not been created for the road it still has three entries in the Guinness Book of World Records: the most luxurious logo, the most expensive model car and the most secure showcase, which is made of bulletproof glass.
The automaker’s spokesman in Dubai said that although the prototype has been on display for one week now, there has been no interest from potential buyers. Maybe the real Aventador next to the small gold-plated prototype is to be blamed.
