The first ever Dacia Duster has arrived on the UK shore ahead of its sale date of 28 June, according to the Romanian based automaker.
Even if this is actually the first ever Dacia Duster to arrive in the United Kingdom, the low-cost SUV was already available for pre-order in the country and the model will still start its deliveries this summer. The Romanian company is saying that the Dacia Duster will have a starting price of 10, 000 pounds in the UK (12,150 euros) for the entry-level version, which will come with the 1.6 liter 16-valve engine, developing 110 horsepower, with front-wheel drive, but for the all-wheel drive versions, the price will go up to 12,500 pounds (15,150 euros).
The Dacia Duster is being made under Renault’s “close watch” and the model is actually based on the old Clio generation and the Romanian low-cost SUV will be available in the United Kingdom in the same configuration as in its local auto market, with the 1.6 liter 16-valve petrol engine, developing 110 HP sent to the front wheels in the entry-level version, and with the 1.5 dCi diesel unit, in two outputs, 85 HP and 105 HP. More details on the Dacia Duster for UK will be announced next month.
