
The Akron, Ohio-based tire company will remain NASCAR’s exclusive tire supplier for the Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series, further extending a 57-year relationship.
“NASCAR is clearly the expert in stock car racing, and it has chosen Goodyear because of our expertise in delivering outstanding performance,” Goodyear vice president Pierre Jambon said in a written statement.
“Our longtime relationship with Goodyear is a testament to the company’s consistent high-quality tire it supplies the race teams,” said NASCAR’s chief sales officer Jim O’Connell. “Not only are they experts in tyre performance, but they are also a brand that understands how to effectively engage and connect with our fans through creative activation.”
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company develops, manufactures, distributes, and sells tires for most applications. The Company also manufactures and markets several lines of rubber and rubber-related chemicals and provides automotive repair services.
