The Aston Martin Vulcan can now be found on the other side of the Atlantic as a great looking red unit has arrived recently at a dealership in Cleveland.
Called out by everyone as Aston Martin’s masterpiece, the Vulcan will only exist in the form of 24 bespoke cars and all of them will only be allowed to reach their potential on the racetrack because they’re of course illegal to drive on public roads. This is also appears to be the first recorded time when Aston Martin’s ultimate vehicle has reached the US – matched by a lovely red fiery color. By the way, if you’re rooting for this contraption to hit the streets in a production series form you’re out of luck – considering the financial trouble Aston Martin is in and the fact that it recently needed derogations from US regulations even for its series produced models.
Aston Martin has already been keen to point out the Vulcan will remain a track-only affair, where it can be seen as reaching out to the select club formed by the McLaren P1 GTR and Ferrari FXX K. Looking way more spectacular than both, the Vulcan is as purist as it can be today – it’s powered by a naturally aspirated V12 7.0-liter engine that churns out at least 800 bhp (596 kW), sending all the power to the pavement via a six-speed sequential transmission. Naturally, the “most intense and exhilarating creation to date” from the British supercar manufacturer has already been sold out despite the hefty price tag of $2.3 million.
