Famous IndyCar driver Graham Rahal has recently taken delivery of his newest ride, this one-off Porsche 918 Spyder.
The model in question is the newest one to be added to Graham Rahal’s car collection and it is not only bringing the unique exterior finish, called the Viper Green, but it is also adding a unique interior design. You can also notice the carbon fiber elements of the impressive hypercar, along with the black finished multi-spoke wheels. Don’t expect any performance modifications made under its hood because it is not the case. Porsche will only be producing 918 units of the 918 Spyder, with a total of 297 being aimed towards the United States, being followed by China and Germany, both with approximately 100 units.
Rumor has it that all examples have been sold out so far so the only place in which you can find one, is the second-hand market. The Porsche 918 Spyder has been originally unveiled back in 2013, during the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it has been designed by Michael Mauer, being offered in a two-door roadster body style, with the rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. It is a hybrid vehicle and the fastest one to have ever been produced by Porsche. It is coming with a 4.6 liter V8 engine, backed up by two electric motors, producing a total output of 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this needs as low as 2.5 seconds and top speed stands at 340 km/h (210 mph).
