Gumpert GmbH has decided to tease its plans for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, where the new owners are set to reveal what they have in store for the exotic brand.
The niche marquee has gained a new ownership and now the company has teased its “new chapter” set to begin even earlier as the picture will have you see the January 11 date up front. Ideal TeamVenture has announced the carmaker’s name has been officially changed to “Apollo Automobil GmbH” and the brand would deliver a “brand new Apollo” with the current codename set to “Arrow” at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. We’re definitely not going to wait that long to see it revealed because the usual online announcement should come forth on January 11 – the new official website will be usable starting with the date. By the way, the Ideal TeamVenture should be a familiar name as they are the ones responsible for the acquisition of De Tomaso back in June 2015, when they paid just $1.8 million.
For the latter brand the representatives of Ideal TeamVenture said at the time the strategy tipped a Chinise market introduction with cars sold under the “De Tomaso” livery. We’re here rooting for the new owner to live up to its promises and deliver the financial strength needed to insure the continuation of the two exotic marquees.
