Jaguar is believed to be on the point of starting the development for a hardcore version of the Jaguar F-Type which is believed to get no less than 600 HP.
The Jaguar F-Type is one hot ride and it managed to become a competitor for the Porsche 911 but not the carmaker wants to take it to another level with the development of a more hardcore version. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet, but according to a recent report, the model is believed to be introduced in the near future and it should be producing a total output of 600 HP. The model should get the same 5.0 liter V8 supercharged engine under its hood which will be updated in order to become even more powerful.
Besides the impressive output produced by the unit, this version of the Jaguar F-Type is also expected to get an upgraded body kit which should help it differentiate even further form the standard versions. Expect some new sets of wheels too, larger diameter ceramic disc brakes, a large front splitter, a fixed trunk spoiler and probably some tweaks made to the suspension system. The cabin of the model should be slightly updated too. We’re not sure at this time when will the hardcore version of the sports car be introduced but as a small reminder, the most powerful F-Type money can but these days is the Coupe which is bringing a 5.0L V8 supercharged engine with 542 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque.
