Hennessey’s New Tuning Project: 2009-2011 Dodge Ram HPE500 image

Hennessey does not simply create beautiful looking vehicles like Venom GT, but it also involves itself in tuning up the already existing models and thereby creating an HPE title tied with the proper horsepower number.

Its recent vehicle that has become the part of this tuning project is the 2009-2011 Dodge Ram.

Hennessey has successfully tuned up a new HPE500 designated vehicle which is powered by a 5.7 litre Hemi, merged with a TVS2300 Supercharger System and for cooling down the system a new HPE Air Induction System is been added. Overall setup when fuelled with 93 Octane can easily produce 505 horsepower at 5400 rpm. Breaking it down, the driver enjoys 422 horsepower at the rear wheels, but a boost of 20 per cent increases the capacity to 505 horsepower at the engine. If we compare, the Ram SRT10 has got Viper’s V10 engine which produces 410 horsepower at the rear wheels that throws 505 horsepower at the engine.

Besides this inner modified work, Hennessey has also added a new stainless steel catback exhaust system. Still, if one finds this powerpack of Hennessey’s as insufficient, then the exterior of the car possesses a unique badge of the company. To increase the demand of this roaring monster, floormats and embroidered headrests are also added. With $12,950 one can enjoy the installed kit of 2009-2011 Dodge Ram HPE500. However, those who want to install by their own can enjoy the mailed kit to them at $10,950. At $6,950 an installed HPE425 kit is available whereas, the mailed kit costs $4,950.
