Hennessey to upgrade new Corvette Stingray image

The aftermarket specialists at Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) have recently announced their plans to introduce a new tuning package for the 2014 Corvette Stingray.

According to the tuning company, the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will get some interesting upgrades under its hood, and not only, which should make it more interesting to its future customers. Hennessey says that the muscle car will be equipped with a CarbonAero exterior which will include the front splitter, the rear spoiler and the new side skirts. Besides these, future owners of the package will also be able to order the adjustable suspension, the ceramic brakes or the monoblock alloy wheels.

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray signed by Hennessey will be named the HPE600 and it will be powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine, equipped with a TVS2300 supercharger system, an HPE air induction system and a modified ECU. Thanks to these changes, the total output now stands at 600 HP (447 kW). The HPE700 is also available, with a custom camshaft and CNC ported cylinder heads, boosting the engine’s power to 700 HP (522 kW). There will also be the HPE800, with 800 HP (596 kW) and also the HPE1000, with its 1000 HP (745 kW). No pricing details have been announced yet.
