Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged starts production image

The Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged has recently entered production as the American based company has announced.

Being previewed back in December, last year, the new Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged has entered a whole new phase, which is also the final one – production. According to the American based company, the model in question will be carrying a starting price of 73,500 USD, including the donor car, and all units will be benefiting the 3-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty.

The new Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged has been based on the 2015 Ford F-150 FX4 4×4 and it can get the optional off-road front and rear bumpers, at an extra cost, along with the LED light bar, the yellow body wrap, the stainless steel car-back exhaust system, a winch, HPE suspension upgrade and several other tweaks. The vehicle has been also equipped with the black fender flares and the 17-inch wheels, wrapped in the 33-inch BF Goodrich tires.

The most important part of it can be found under its hood where the company has added a 2.9 liter supercharged system for the 5.0 liter V8 engine. This is capable of bumping the total output to an impressive 600 HP (447 kW), available at 6,600 rpm. From 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h), the model needs just a little over four seconds. As we mentioned above, the new Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged will be starting from approximately 73,500 USD, a cost which will include the donor car.
