A girl wearing high-heeled shoes has managed to crash her personal McLaren MP4-12C in China recently.
The newest supercar crash is coming all the way from China and it is referring to this particular McLaren MP4-12C, which has definitely seen better days. According to the local media, the model in question has been crashed by its owner, the girl in the picture posted above, after she has cut off a Citroen while making a U-turn under a bridge. The inevitable happened as the French sedan has slammed the side of this beautiful red supercar.
We are not sure at this point whether the incident has happened because the young female driver was wearing high-heeled shoes because she will not admit it, obviously. When the local police arrived at the scene, the woman said that the car has “suddenly accelerate” when she was making the turn. Whether this is true or not cannot be said exactly but most likely she has gotten her heels wrapped in the floor mat or in the pedals which resulted to this incident.
The McLaren MP4-12C has been produced between 2011 and 2014 and it was replaced a year ago by the 650S. The supercar came in two body styles, coupe and roadster, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. Under its hood, the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine was capable of putting down a total of 592 HP (441 kW) and 601 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint took just 3 seconds and top speed stood at 346 km/h (215 mph).
