Hofele Design’s Volkswagen Touareg II – Dubbed the Royal GT 470 image

Tuner Hofele Design has revealed its new tuning program that is made particularly for the Volkswagen Touareg II. The vehicle is dubbed as the Royal GT 470 and has received aggressive styling with added performance.

The package includes modified fascias, a revised grille, stainless steel 4-tailpipe exhaust system, and arch extensions. In addition to this, customers are also offered with options where they can order the electric lowering module and 20 to 22 inch alloy wheels. The electric lowering module basically lowers down the ride height by 40 mm when parked, though it also gets lower ride height while cruising at speeds less than 80 kph / 50 mph. This sounds quite a challenge offered by Hofele Design, but all depends upon the customers whose interest matters.

The SUV has also received a 3.0 liter TDI engine that proudly sits under the hood, but the power is boosted by a revised ECU that helps the vehicle to make an output of 275 PS (202 kW / 271 horsepower) and 580 Nm (428 pound-feet) of torque. This means due to revised ECU, the vehicle gets an increased power of 35 PS (26 kW / 35 horsepower) and 80 Nm (59 pound-feet) of torque. Also with the help of this additional power, the SUV can make 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and can made a top speed of 229 km/h (142 mph).
