Holden has officially pulled the wraps off the new Colorado Z71, which will be offered for sale next month.
The newest addition to the Holden range is called the Colorado Z71 and this has been based on the Colorado LTZ 4×4 Crew Cab. The model is being offered with features such as the sport bar, the gloss black accents, the updated front bumper, the tinted headlights, the black hood decals, the soft tonneau, the roof rails, the 18-inch alloy wheels and, of course, the Z71 badging, amongst others.
“Drivers are increasingly using trucks to facilitate an active lifestyle, whether it’s surfing or snowboarding, and looking good is important to them. Z71 adds an impressive range of features to the Colorado truck, not least the exterior black components and leather-appointed seats that combine to give a more aggressive look and comfortable ride”, said Peter Keley, the Holden Sales executive director.
The interior design of the new Holden Colorado Z71 hasn’t been left unchanged either and despite the modifications are limited, they are “there” and they include the MyLink infotainment system with its 7-inch display, the rearview camera and the heated front seats, wrapped in leather. As far as the engine goes, power is being provided by a 2.8 liter Duramax diesel burner, which is capable of producing a total output of 197 HP (147 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque, being connected to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. No pricing details on the vehicle have been announced at this time.
