Holden has recently announced the official production start of the VF Commodore in Australia, where the first model has recently rolled off the assembly line.
“Our facility and workforce is world-class. We manage an incredible amount of complexity at HVO and incorporating the VF’s sophisticated body structure into an already diverse plant has been a challenge that the team has executed with skill and ingenuity. We have implemented a huge number of process and system improvements and the results speak for themselves. The VF is quite simply the best quality car Holden has ever built”, said the Holden manufacturing executive director, Richard Phillips.
As a quick reminder, the Holden VF Commodore SS-V, with its V8 engine, can be ordered from 45,490 AUD, while the VF Commodore Evoke, the base version, will cost 34,990 AUD. The new Holden VF Commodore is getting LED daytime running lights, integrated lip spoiler in the deck lid, new fender vents, more creases in the hood, a new rear end, heads-up display, a big navigation screen with the MyLink system, Auto Park Assist, Blind Spot Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Reverse Traffic Allert, Forward Collision Alert, electronic parking brake and much more.
