The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently announced the launch of the new Amaze to India, where the model is now available from Rs. 4.99 lakh for the base E version.
According to the car manufacturer, future owners of the Honda Amaze in India will have to choose between six petrol versions, the E, the EX, the S, the S (AT), the VX and the VX (AT), where the cheapest version has been priced at Rs. 4.99 lakh. If the top of the line VX AT is what you’re looking for, you should know that this version will set you back for Rs. 7.50 lakh.
Diesel lovers will get to choose between four trim levels on the new Honda Amaze, the E, the EX, the S and the VX, with the cheapest one costing Rs 5.99 lakh and the most expensive Rs. 7.60 lakh. A total of six body colors have been announced for the Honda Amaze, the red, blue, titanium, black, white and silver and the models are coming with heat-absorbing front windshield which can reduce the cabin temperature by 6 degrees C when being parked under the sun for 20 minutes. This is available for VX and VX AT trim levels.
The 1.5 liter i-DTEC engine available for the Amaze is coming with 100 PS at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm of torque available at 1,750 rpm. The 1.2 ltier i-VTEC petrol unit is good for 88 PS at 6,000 rpm and 109 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The Amaze is 3,990 mm long, 1,680 mm wide and 1,505 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,405 mm, 60 mm longer than the one on the Brio.
