The third largest Japanese automaker has unveiled its plans for the lineup that will be showcased during the 2015 and they include the mysterious Project 2&4.
The automaker has also come up with a teaser for the Honda Project 2&4, which is actually the winning design of an internal competition run between the company’s worldwide design studios. The bid was won by the motorcycle design centre in Asaka and the automobile design centre in Wako, Japan and will showcase the automaker’s efforts to “create a more exciting user experience.” The Honda Project 2&4 appears to come with a cabin-less structure blending the feedback of a motorcycle to the maneuverability of a car. More details will probably be released closer to the debut scheduled for mid-September.
The Honda lineup for IAA 2015 includes the brand new HR-V and Jazz models, set to arrive in European showrooms next month. The 2015 version of the Honda CR-V SUV also comes with novelties – a new diesel engine and nine-speed automatic transmission, as well as a host of new safety features. The 2015 Honda Civic and Civic Tourer also come with exterior and interior enhancements, thanks to the introduction of the new Civic Sport trim, while the models also gain the Honda Connect, an Android-based infotainment system bundling WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, HDMI and Mirror Link connectivity. Also on display will be the new Civic Type R, which uses the all new 2.0 litre VTEC turbo engine rated at 310 PS that enables the front-wheel drive hot hatch performance car reach a maximum speed of 270 km/h.
