Honda City Special Edition launched in Malaysia image

After Honda launched the facelifted version of its City model just last month in Thailand, the Japanese automaker decided it’s time for a limited edition of the sedan which will be available in just 500 units and the chances will be just aesthetical.

The Malaysian division of Honda has just launched the 2011 Honda City 3rd Generation Special Edition and its future customers will get a full Module aero kit which includes a front under spoiler, rear under spoiler and duck tail spoiler, along with a special number engraved on the door sill plate.

The Honda City Special Edition is powered by the same engine found on the facelift and on the version before, the 1.5 liter i-VTEC, which is delivering 118 PS at 6.600 rpm and 146 Nm of torque at 4.800 rpm.

The Japanese automaker says that the City Special Edition is available in Polished Metal or Tafetta White and the sedan has been priced at RM 92.890, being RM 2.500 more expensive than the standard version, but according to Honda the add-ons are worth over RM 6.000.
