A recent rendering of the Honda Civic Coupe Concept is showing us how the model in question may look like in a Type R version.
If you are a Honda fan than the Accord is probably the vehicle of choice if you happen to have a numerous family but if you are younger, than the Civic Type R probably stands as a background image on your devices. Even so, you probably remember the Civic Coupe Concept, which has made a surprise appearance at the 2015 New York Auto Show, a couple of weeks ago, but the good news is that this has been turned into a true Type R vehicle, in the virtual world at least. The images posted below represent renderings of such a model and they have been signed by Wild Speed.
The Honda Civic Coupe Concept Type R has received a more aggressive body style, with new front and rear bumpers, with updated side skirts, a large rear wing, larger wheel arches, some red accents on some body parts and on the wheels, along with red brake calipers and an interesting rim design, covering them. The body has been finished in white and we can also notice the quad exhaust system. The regular version of the new Honda Civic Type R, which has been unveiled a few months back, has a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine under its hood, with 310 HP (228 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox, allowing it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h (167 mph).
