The Honda Concept D has made its public debut at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show.
The Japanese based automaker Honda is currently attending the 2015th edition of the Shanghai Auto Show and the newest model to be unveiled, wearing the company’s badges on its body, is called the Concept D. This is serving as a preview for a future crossover which will be aimed exclusively at the Chinese automotive market. It is coming with a large front bumper incorporating strips of the LED daytime running lights, a large front grille and large air vents, along with the slim headlights with a futuristic look.
The side profile is bringing the cameras instead of the conventional mirrors, the large skirts, bulging wheel arches and the rear end has a roof mounted spoiler, LED C-shaped taillights and an angular rear bumper with big air breathers. The design of the one-off car couldn’t have been complete without a new set of massive 21-inch wheels. These have been wrapped in 285/45 tires. The body of the model has been finished in a bronze paint and it has recessed door handles. Since it doesn’t have an exhaust tip, the vehicle is probably full electric but at this point no details on the powertrain have been announced by the car manufacturer. However, you can still check it out in the few images released officially. More info on the one-off vehicle are limited at this time and will probably be announced during a future automotive event.
