Honda CR-V facelift goes on sale in Europe next spring image

Honda has officially announced its plans to offer the facelifted version of the CR-V for sale next spring, across the Old Continent.

After being introduced at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the 2015 Honda CR-V is now getting ready to go on sale across Europe, as this will happen in spring, according to the carmaker. The vehicle has been restyled cosmetically but the tweaks are moderate and have been carried over from the American version. In the cabin, we can find the 7-inch touch screen display on the Honda Connect, providing support for Bluetooth, rearview camera, MirrorLink and so on.

The 2015 Honda CR-V is packing a more efficient 1.6 liter i-DTEC engine, which is producing a total output of 160 HP (118 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. This is coming as a replacement for the 2.2 liter i-DTEC and it is available with AWD only, being connected to a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic. The CR-V will also get a 1.6 liter i-DTEC with 120 HP and a 2.0 liter i-VTEC with 155 HP, with a manual transmission and two-wheel drive. No pricing details have been announced at this time.
