The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently announced the introduction of a supercharger kit for the CR-Z, which is making the model quite more powerful.
Owners of the 2013 and 2014 Honda CR-Z who are looking for more power for their rides will be glad to find out that the Japanese based automaker is now offering a supercharger kit for the model in question. According to the company, the supercharger kit has been created by Honda Performance Development and it is adding the optimized ECU, the high flow fuel injectors, the air to air intercooler and several other tweaks.
Thanks to these modifications, and also to the high performance air filter and to the above mentioned supercharger, the total output of the model is now standing in at 197 HP (147 kW), compared to the standard 130 HP (97 kW). Customers can also order, among other things, a sport clutch and a limited slip differential. Honda says that the supercharger kit has been priced from 5,495 USD and that it can be installed at the dealership, so if you have your eyes onto it, hurry up and install it because you can always use more power.
