The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently pulled the wraps off the Fit Twist during the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil.
The Honda Fit Twist is aimed towards the local Brazilian market as the car manufacturer is saying and it’s getting off-road inspired styling with its plastic body cladding, side plates, modified bumpers, different grille, roof rails and new fog lights.
“The ‘FIT twist’ is a Fit derivative model developed exclusively for the Brazilian market, and it is the first model developed by the local automobile R&D team in Brazil”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
Honda didn’t release any official images with the interior design of the Fit Twist but the company is saying that the model has unique seat upholstery. The engine lineup on the Honda Fit Twist will be carried over so the 1.4 liter unit with its 100 HP (75 kW) and the 1.5 liter with 115 HP (86 kW) will make their way onto the model. Honda says that the Fit Twist will go on sale in Brazil next month (November) but there is no official word on pricing for the moment.
