Honda Gold Wing to be launched in Malaysia on the 31st of May image

The Japanese based company Honda has recently announced that the 2012 Gold Wing will be launched in Malaysia on the 31st of May, where the motorcycle will have a starting price of RM174,900.

According to the manufacturer, the 2012 Honda Gold Wing will be available, in Malaysia, in two colors, Graphite Black and Pearl Fadeless, and the model will have a starting price of RM174,900 on the road once it will be launched in the Asian country on the 31st of May. The 2012 Honda Gold Wing is a touring bike which means that the model is getting some luggage capacity of over 150 liters, along with a 2.8 liter central storage compartment which can be used to store small personal items.

The 2012 Honda Gold Wing is powered by a 1,832 cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine, with PGM-FI tech which is promising low emissions combined with crisp throttle response, mated to a five-speed transmission. The new Japanese bike is coming with a surround sound audio system which can be hooked up to an USB stick, an iPhone or an iPod and it’s compatible with WMA, MP3 and AAC. In terms of safety, the Gold Wing is coming with ABS and Combined Braking System, and we can also tell you that the model has a lightweight electronic cruise control and a slow-speed reverse gear, available at the touch of a button.
