Our spy photographers have managed to provide us with new spy photos of the upcoming Honda NSX which has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested out on the Ring.
After providing you with a spy video of the Honda NSX test mule just a few hours ago, time has come to let you see it in a more “static way”, with the help of the spy photos posted below. The model in question is heavily camouflaged but we can still see the similarities to the concept car wearing the same name, which was first seen a couple of years ago, so if you were concerned that Honda has dropped the new NSX, don’t be, because the model is close than ever to the assembly line.
The original Honda NSX has been developed at the end of the 1980s with the help of Ayrton Senna and it was one of the most advanced sports cars of its time and so the new one has a tough job of becoming even better than the original, which is why the company is currently testing it on the Nurburgring. The vehicle will be mid-engined and it is believed to be powered by a 3.7 liter V6 unit, “moving” the rear wheels, backed up by two electric motors, each one powering a front wheel. The new Honda NSX will be competing against models such as the Lamborghini Huracan, the Ferrari 458 Italia or the McLaren 650S in terms of performance and it is believed to pack an impressive 600 HP. Its starting price will be set at approximately 110,000 USD and the model will be produced in Ohio, USA, in 2015.
