Honda Motor has recently released an outline for vehicle production, sales in Japan and export results for February 2014.
Honda reached record production for the month of February with a total of 353,009 vehicles manufactured worldwide. Production in Japan in February increased for the sixth consecutive month since September last year and overseas the automaker saw an increase for the first time in the past two months and set a record high production for the month.
Global production also increased for the seventh consecutive month, since August last year, and set a new production record for the month of February. On the other hand, exports from Japan dropped for the fourth consecutive month since November last year.

On another matter, last week, Honda reached a new production milestone, when the 10 millionth Honda Accord build in the US rolled off the assembly line at the Maryville plant. All four Honda manufacturing facilities celebrated a total production of 20 million vehicles in theUSmarket. The Marysville Auto Plant is also the facility where Honda built the first Accord on November 1, 1982.
