Honda’s newest creation is a special edition of the S660, called the S660 Concept Edition. This has been developed in order to celebrate the introduction of the limited-run model and it will become available for order starting this Thursday. The carmaker says that only 660 units will be offered and each one will get the Premium Star White Pearl body paint, along with the two-tone leather wrapped seats in the cabin, the light gray finish for the driver’s seat and dark gray look for the passenger’s seat, red stitching, a leather wrapped steering wheel and gearshift lever and so on.
The brand new Honda S660 Concept Edition is also bringing the individually numbered plate, the center display and the City Brake Active system, amongst others. The door windows are getting the so-called Ultra Glass Coating NEO, which is a water-repellent body coating. Just like the regular model, the new special edition is taking its power from the same 3-cylinder 660cc turbocharged petrol burner, which is putting down a total of 63 HP (47 kW). These are being sent to the rear-wheel drive through a six-speed manual transmission or through an optional 7-speed CVT. No performance details have been announced so far. Rumor has it that the S1000 will be introduced on the Old Continent sometimes next year, with a 1.0L engine and more than 127 HP (95 kw).
