The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 Odyssey Touring Elite, during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite is fitted with the HondaVAC system, which is basically an in-car vacuum cleaner which doesn’t need an outlet to function because it has an electric motor which is allowing it to work without any interruptions as long as the engine is running and once you will turn the engine off, it will continue to work for up to 8 minutes.
“The Odyssey is already the leader in its segment, and for 2014, Honda has made the modern family hauler even better. Honda is once again showcasing its reputation for innovation with HondaVAC, and its ability to provide true value to our customers”, said the VP of American Honda marketing operations, Michael Accavitti.
The 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite is also getting the Hondalink infotainment system with a 7-inch screen, the Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and push-start button. Exterior changes are limited and they include the twin-bar grille, front fenders, aluminum hood, chrome-trimmed fog lights, LED taillight bars, new badging and some other tweaks. No details on the engine have been announced yet so chances are that the model will still get the 3.6L V6 with its 248 BHP (185 kW).
