The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently released the first teaser image with the upcoming Ridgeline generation, which should make its way onto the market in a couple of years.
Honda has a weird way of announcing the production stop of the current Ridgeline and the arrival of a future generation of the model, by teasing the upcoming version with a first image which is not actually revealing that much, as expected.
“The next generation Ridgeline will build on Honda’s role in creating new value with a new take on advancing form and function in the truck segment.” He added, “With a clear path forward, Ridgeline will play an even more important role in our future product portfolio and strengthen an already class-leading lineup of light trucks”, said the American Honda Motor Company’s senior vice president of automobile operations, Michael Accavitti.
The image posted above may be revealing that the next generation of the Honda Ridgeline will receive a steeply raked windscreen, a rounded front fascia, an upright C-pillar, a more conventional bed and some other design tweaks, which should make it look modern. Additional details on the future generation of the Honda Ridgeline are currently limited for the moment and will probably be announced in a couple of years, close to its official unveil.
