Honda has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 Civic and the 2014 Civic Si Coupes at the 2013 SEMA Motor Show, in a world premiere.
After unveiling the facelifted version of the Honda Civic sedan not too long ago, the Japanese based automaker has decided to finally pull the wraps off the 2014 Civic Coupe. The model in question has received a new front grille, different front and rear bumpers, a restyled hood, new front fenders, updated headlamps and taillights, revised mirrors and much more, which will make it more popular to its future customer.
“With the further advancement of the 2014 Civic Coupe and Si models and an exciting path forward for performance parts drawing on our racing experience we are making a statement about our commitment to the fun to drive character of the Honda brand”, said John Mendel, the auto sales Honda American executive VP.
The 2014 Honda Civic Si has received some upgrades similar to the one found on the new Civic Coupe but this version can be distinguished thanks to its different front bumper, to the trunk mounted spoiler, to the rear diffuser and the 18-inch alloy wheels. As far as the engine lineup goes, the Si Coupe is getting 205 HP (153 kW) and 235 Nm (174 lb-ft) of torque from the 2.4L four-cylinder unit, 4 HP (3 kW) and 5 Nm (4 lb-ft) of torque.
