The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently pulled the wraps off the final production version of the Urban SUV during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, which is now called the VEZEL.
Originally introduced at the beginning of this year, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, back in January, the Honda Urban SUV is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the company officially pulling the wraps off its final production version. The model in question has changed its name and it’s now known as the Honda VEZEL.
“The VEZEL is a completely new model that goes beyond the boundaries of automobile categories by fusing together multifaceted values at a high level, including the dynamic qualities of an SUV, the elegance of a coupe and the functionality of a minivan”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.
The new Honda VEZEL will be offered on the carmaker’s local market with a 1.5 liter direct injected gasoline engine, along with a hybrid variant which will get the same unit under its hood, being backed up by a high output electric motor and the SPORT HYBRID i-DCD (Intelligent Dual Clutch Drive). More details on the Honda VEZEL will be announced on the 19th of December, one day before its local market launch.
