Honda Yuasa Racing has officially published the first official images with the new Civic Tourer, which will be competing in the BTCC, this year.
The new Civic Tourer BTCC has been officially presented by Honda Yuasa Racing and it will be competing this year in the British Touring Car Championship. The racing car is currently undergoing some last minute testing as it will be tuned to perfection until it will debut in the inaugural race season at Brands Hatch, on March 29-30.
According to the crew at Honda Yuasa Racing, the newly unveiled Civic Tourer BTCC will be driven in the competition by Matt Neal and by Gordon Sheddon. The racing car will be taking its power from a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a total output of more than 300 HP (221 kW). This will not be the only Honda Civic vehicle on the track as it will be joined by the Civic hatchback this time as part of the Eurotech Racing team. The Honda Yuasa Racing Civic Tourer BTCC is marking the return of an estate car after the 1994 season.
