Well, it may contradict the term “premium midsized sedan”, but I’m pretty sure that it will gain a few customers, considering the dropped price.
Have you ever wondered what a premium midsized sedan would look like in an extremely basic version? Well, to be honest, we didn’t, but that doesn’t mean that X-Tomi Design hasn’t and, as we can see from the image posted above, the result is mind blowing. The model in question is the new generation of the Audi A4 Sedan which is now coming with steel wheels, with plastic black front and rear bumpers, with black door handles and black side mirrors.
If this model will become available, than expect the missing infotainment system, the lacking of the air conditioning unit and probably not even a stereo system inside it, while under the hood, you should get ready for an extremely basic engine, something like a 1.6 liter naturally aspirated with approximately 100 HP, connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. Happily, Audi hasn’t announced any plans of offering such a model and if you are still looking for a midsized sedan with a cheaper price, chances are you are better off with the new generation of the Volkswagen Passat, with a Ford Mondeo, which still remains a great vehicle to drive, or even the upcoming Renault Talisman, amongst others, because no premium automaker will be offering such a model.
