It’s been a long time since we have heard anything about the BMW 1M Coupe but this particular model cannot simply be ignored.
BMW has made a lot of people fall in love with the 1M Coupe and decided to pull the plug on it before most have gotten the chance to enjoy it and, in the meantime, its official successor the M2 Coupe, has made its debut. But that doesn’t mean that the 1M Coupe is good for the scrapyard and, in fact, this particular model is proving that this still has what it takes on order to be a head-turner and to remind us of the original M3 E30.
The high-performance two-door compact car has received the Boca Design made carbon fiber spoiler and M3 style carbon fiber hood. We can also see the that wonderful black finish for the entire body along with the BMW M stripes added to the front bumper, part of the front grille and the rear bumper as well. Contributing to the final looks of the car are the seven double-spoke wheels, finished in grey and wrapped in low-profile tires. We are not exactly sure if any performance modifications have been made to it but we will remind you that the standard 1M Coupe has a twin-turbo N54 engine under its hood, used in various other models, such as the 335is, the Z4 sDrive35is or the 740i. In this case, the unit is good for 340 HP (250 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited slip differential.
