Hyundai has officially announced the introduction of the Creta in India.
The newest creation to be signed by Hyundai is called the Creta and this is a sub-compact crossover which has been officially unveiled a month ago. The model in question is now being offered for sale in India, where it has a starting price of 859, 558 rupees, or the equivalent of 13,500 USD. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question stands at 4,270 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,630 mm in height, with a 2,590 mm long wheelbase and a ground clearance of 190 mm. On the Indian auto market, the Creta is going to be offered with a petrol burner and two diesel engines.
The petrol unit is a 1.6 liter Gamma Dual VTVT four-cylinder, rated at 121 HP at 6,400 rpm and 151 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,850 rpm. This is burning an average of 6.5L / 100km. The cheapest diesel powered version is making use of a 1.4 liter U2 CRDi with four cylinders, rated at 89 HP at 4,000 rpm and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque, available between 1,500 rpm and 2,750 rpm. This is the most economical version, eating just 4.7 liters of fuel every 100 km. The last unit available is a 1.6 liter U2 CRDi VGT with four cylinders, producing 126 HP at 4,000 rpm and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. This is burning 5.1L / 100km. All engines are connected in standard to a 6-speed manual while the range-topping diesel is available with a 6-speed automatic.
