A prototype of the upcoming Hyundai Creta has been caught on camera with no camouflage on its body.
There is no surprise anymore that the South Korean based automaker is currently working on a new vehicle, the Creta, as the model has been already announced a few weeks back and it was even teased in a couple of sketches, partially revealing its exterior and interior design. But the vehicle is now returning in some truly revealing images which are showing a prototype on the road with no camouflage fitted to its body.
The black one seems to be in a higher specification than the red one but the overall design of the sub-compact crossover is similar to the one of the ix25 Concept. The new model will be taking aim at vehicles such as the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, Opel Mokka, Chevrolet Trax, Ford EcoSport, Mazda CX-3 and so on but at first, it will only be offered on the Indian automotive market. Chances are it will come with different sets of powertrains for each region sold and we also expect it on the Old Continent, in the near future. The new Hyundai Creta has a pretty big chance of ending up in Europe this September, in time for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, but this still has to be confirmed. Additional details on the new South Korean sub-compact crossover are limited at this time and will be announced once the model will be officially unveiled.
