The Hyundai i20 Active has been recently detailed by the car manufacturer as the model in question will be officially launched over the next few days.
Hyundai’s newest creation is called the i20 Active and this is basically a beefed up version of the regular i20 hatchback, which stands at 10 mm extra in length, 26 mm extra in width and 50 mm extra in height, with a 20 mm increased ground clearance to a total of 190 mm. The model in question is coming with the same wheelbase and trunk capacity as the regular variant but its body has received some plastic body cladding around the lower areas of the front and rear bumpers, on the side skirts and around the wheel arches, contributing to its updated looks.
The new Hyundai i20 Active is a high level model which is getting goodies such as the Tangerine Orange or Aqua Blue themes in the cabin, the rear ventilation, automatic air conditioning, aluminum pedals, keyless entry, keyless start, 1GB of on-board storage, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, 8-speaker sound system, front airbags, adjustable steering column and driver’s seat and vented glove box, amongst others. The Hyundai i20 Active will be offered exclusively with a front-wheel drive layout and all engines and transmissions will be borrowed from the regular car. More details on the model in question are limited at this time and will probably be announced over the next few days.
