The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently released the first teaser image with the 2014 Elantra / Avante, which has received some interesting updates.
The current generation of the Elantra / Avante has been on the market from quite some time now but that doesn’t mean that the model is getting out of date, but in order to make it more appealing to its future customers, the carmaker is currently working on an updated version. The 2014 Hyundai Elantra / Avante is being placed into the spotlights for the first time, in an official way, thanks to a teaser image which is revealing the headlight and fog light, the taillight, the rim and the trip computer.
This is suggesting that the “new” model will get LED infused headlights, new alloy wheels and some new high-tech options for the updated interior. It remains uncertain yet whether or not the engine lineup will be upgraded too but as a quick reminder the current model is using a 1.6 liter Gamma GDI four-cylinder unit, which is good for 140 HP (103 kW) and 167 Nm of torque (133 lb-ft). More details on the facelifted version of the Elantra / Avante remain unknown for the moment.
