Hyundai Genesis Coupe officially teased ahead of L.A. Auto Show image

The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has released some official images of its new Genesis Coupe ahead of the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, after releasing a limited edition of the GT earlier this year, inspired by the Hyundai Motor Sport Team and after the model leaked several times a few months ago.

As we can see from the images launched by the car manufacturer, the Genesis Coupe has a more fluid design which integrates it perfectly into the current Hyundai lineup and the model will definitely be an interesting choice to its future customers, but even so, the automaker didn’t provide any extra details on the vehicle.

Initial rumors said that the new generation of the Genesis Coupe will be powered by the current 2.0 liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine, but a larger 3.8 liter V6 with direct injection, developing 333 horsepower, may also be in the books, and, until now, this “statement” appears to stand up from the rest.

Sadly there aren’t any more details about the Hyundai Genesis Coupe but the South Korean automaker will release some interesting data on the model at this month’s Los Angeles Auto Show, and the vehicle is also scheduled to hit the 2012 Detroit Motor Show, with a possible arrival into the dealerships sometimes next year.
