Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC Coupe teased ahead of SEMA image

The South Korean based automaker Hyundai is playing on the same side as its North American rivals by releasing the first teaser image of the Genesis Hurricane SC Coupe just ahead of the vehicle’s debut at the SEMA Motor Show, which is coming with a new exterior design and 450 horsepower, enough to put a smile on your face.

The impressive Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC Coupe has just been pushed into the muscle car territory where it will have to battle some V8 monsters with its supercharged 3.8 liter V6 engine which is using a Magnuson liquid to air intercooler to help the unit develop more than 450 horsepower.

“The HATCI and Magnuson supercharger demonstrates the high-performance potential of Genesis Coupe’s V6 engine; the car was engineered to handle this kind of extra power. Our HATCI engineers have been working for years with Magnuson to ensure high engine output is available on future Hyundai vehicles”, said the senior engineer David Dutko.

The vehicle’s exterior design has been created with Rhys Millen Racing and the car now has an unique appearance from its new bumpers, revised grille, carbon fiber hood, LED headlights, rear diffuser and 19 inch rims wrapped in Hankook tires.

According to the automaker, the new Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC Coupe will be officially presented at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas, between November 1 in 4.
