A third possible body style and also a more practical one of the new Hyundai i20 generation, the i20 Wagon, is showing itself in a couple of renderings.
The South Korean based automaker Hyundai is currently offering the new i20 generation in two body styles, the five-door hatchback and the 3-door coupe. The two models might receive a third body style too and also the most practical one, the i20 Wagon, but until that will happen, you can check out the images posted below. The photos are actual renderings of the i20 Wagon and they have been signed by Theophilus Chin.
If it will indeed get the green light than the Hyundai i20 Wagon will have some serious competition such as the Skoda Fabia Combi or the Seat Ibiza ST and it will be sharing the same platform, design, interior tweaks, technology and engine lineup with its two brothers which are already available, the 5-door hatchback and the 3-door coupe.
This basically means the LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, console armrest with storage box, multi function steering wheel, height adjustment for the driver and the passenger seats, the Supervision instrument cluster, the rear AC vents, the Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity, smart key, auto folding mirrors and several other goodies. The engine lineup will probably include the 1.25L 84 HP and 122 Nm of torque, the 1.4L with 100 HP and 134 Nm of torque, the 1.1L diesel with 75 HP and 180 Nm and the 1.4L diesel with 90 HP and 240 Nm.
