Hyundai i30 Tourer gets launched in Australia

The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently announced that the i30 Tourer is now available for order in Australia too, where the model can be bought from 22,990 AUD.

After starting its production earlier this year in the Czech Republic, the Hyundai i30 Tourer is ending up in our new once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its launch in Australia. Hyundai says that for the Active petrol manual i30 Tourer, future customers in Australia will have to pay 22,990 AUD, while for the automatic version, 24,990 AUD will have to come out of their bank accounts. The cheapest diesel is available from 25,590 AUD for the same Active trim, while the most expensive diesel automatic Elite Tourer can be bought from 31,190 AUD.

The Hyundai i30 Tourer has a wheelbase of 2,650 mm long, the same as the five-door hatchback version, but the overall length has gained 185 mm. the boot space is 150 liters larger than the one of the hatchback, to 528 liters, and it can expand up to 1,642 liters with the rear seats folded. The 1.6L four-cylinder petrol engine is producing 99 kW and 164 Nm of torque, while the 1.6L four-cylinder diesel is producing 94 kW and 260 Nm of torque, identical to the one found on the i30 hatchback.
