The Hyundai i40 is getting ready to receive a facelift as the model in question has been caught on camera by our spy photographers while it was being tested out.
The current version of the Hyundai i40, one of the best sold family cars across the Old Continent, is getting ready to receive an updated version, which should put some space between it and the already available model, making it more interesting until its successor will be hitting the market over the next few years. The test mule pictured below was wearing a lot of camouflage which suggests big improvements for the model.
The 2015 Hyundai i40 is believed to get a new front bumper, a new rear bumper, cladding incorporated in them, an updated front grille, restyled lamp units and several other tweaks. The fog lamps will be repositioned and as far as the engine lineup goes, we don’t expect too many changes, so the 1.7 liter CRDi diesel will still be offered, with their 115 HP and 136 HP, but these should be reworked in order to meet the Euro 6 emission standards. The updated Hyundai i40 is expected to be introduced probably in early next year.
