Our spy photographers have managed to capture the facelifted version of the Hyundai i40 while it was being tested out in Europe.
One of the most important vehicles produced by Hyundai, the i40, a rival for the popular Volkswagen Passat, is getting ready to be slightly updated as the model in question has been spied while it was being tested. The model in question will get some minor tweaks to the front fascia, considering the fact that this is a facelift, so we are expecting a revised grille, an updated front bumper and some other minor tweaks, which should help it stand out from a crowd.
The Hyundai i40 facelift seen here is just an early prototype so the final production version may turn out to be quite different. The engine lineup used on the model will be carried over but the units will be updated in order to meet the new Euro 6 emission standards, so expect the 115 HP and 136 HP 1.7 liter CRDi diesels, along with the small turbo petrol engines. The facelifted Hyundai i40 is said to be unveiled in early 2015 so more details on it are limited for the moment.
