Hyundai has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the Intrado Concept, which will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere.
After getting a teaser image not too long ago, the new Hyundai Intrado Concept is being placed into the spotlights, this time with the company officially pulling the wraps off its body, ahead of its public debut which has been scheduled for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
“In line with its promise of a motoring future that is more relevant to users’ lifestyles, we have given Intrado a distinctive exterior and interior shape, formed from the lightweight frame, that incorporates only what is necessary. The exterior is defined by a simple yet sporty profile which displays the latest interpretation of fluidic sculpture, while the interior shows how minimal ornamentation will perfectly fit into the varied lifestyles of the millennial generation”, said the Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center’s chief designer, Thomas Burkle.
The brand new Hyundai Intrado Concept has received a fluidic sculpture language, lightweight steel for the body panels, advanced materials in the cabin, exposed carbon fiber, see-through air vents, carbon frame structure and some other tweaks. Power is being provided by a new hydrogen fuel=cell powertrain, which has a 36 kWh lithium-ion battery. The model has a total range of 600 km (373 miles) and it can be refueled in just a few minutes. More details about this model will be announced during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
