Our spy photographers have managed to capture the brand new Hyundai ix25 on camera, while it was being tested in cold weather climate, in Scandinavia.
The South Korean based automaker Hyundai is already known to prepare a small crossover, which will become a direct rival for models like the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, Opel Mokka, Peugeot 2008, Ford EcoSport, Chevrolet Trax and so on, but until now, no one outside the company has seen it. The images posted below are showing the new ix25 while it is being tested in Scandinavia, in a cold weather environment, for the first time.
The styling cues of the model look very similar to other vehicles in the company’s lineup, especially in the rear end, and we also get to see a flat roofline and a beltline sweeping upward. The Hyundai ix25 will be made on the same platform as the next i20 generation, which will debut during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this fall. The small South Korean crossover is believed to be officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, this year, in April. The model will be produced in China, by Beijing Hyundai Motor Co, a joint venture between Hyundai and Beijing Automotive Group.
